ScoreFit is a job-matching service that scores job descriptions against your background, recommends which version of your resume to use, and helps you track applications. This policy explains what information ScoreFit collects, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not to be hidden behind jargon. If anything here is unclear, email us at the address above.

Who we are

ScoreFit is operated by ScoreFit LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company. When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “ScoreFit,” it means ScoreFit LLC. We are the party responsible for the personal information described here.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

Account information. Your email address and authentication details, so you can sign in and so we can send you your results.

Your profile. During onboarding you give us information about your job search: your work history summary, the role titles you are targeting, your years of experience, your key skills, the industries you have worked in, your location and work-arrangement preferences (remote, hybrid, on-site), your compensation expectations, and your deal-breakers and disqualifiers. You provide this directly; we do not buy it or infer it from third parties.

Resumes you upload. The resume files you add, and the text extracted from them, which we use to build your scoring profile and to recommend which version to use for a given role.

Scoring results. The scores, assessments, and notes ScoreFit generates for jobs matched to your profile, and the pipeline you build as you track applications.

Basic technical data. Standard information your browser sends when you use a website, used to keep the service running and secure. We do not build advertising profiles, and ScoreFit does not show ads.

Why we use it

We use your information to:

The legal basis for sending you marketing-style emails such as the daily digest is your consent, which you give by actively opting in. You can withdraw it at any time (see “Your choices” below).

How your resume and profile are scored

ScoreFit's scoring is powered by AI. To score a job against your background, we send relevant parts of your profile and resume content, together with the job description, to Anthropic (the provider of the Claude AI models) through their API for processing. This is core to how the product works, and we want to be plain about it: your resume content and profile data are processed by a third-party AI provider to generate your scores. Anthropic processes this data to return a result to us and under their applicable terms; we do not use it to train any models ourselves.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

We use a small set of service providers (“subprocessors”) to run ScoreFit. They process your information only to provide their service to us:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights or safety of users or the public, or in connection with a business transfer.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and profile information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, resumes, and associated scoring data, except where we are required to retain certain records by law. You can request deletion at any time at adgrossm@gmail.com.

Your choices

Children

ScoreFit is not directed to anyone under 18 and is intended for working professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

We use reputable infrastructure providers and standard safeguards to protect your information. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to protect your data and to limit who can access it.

Where this applies and governing law

ScoreFit is operated from the United States, and your information is processed in the United States. This policy and your use of ScoreFit are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of ScoreFit after a change means you accept the updated policy.
